Undoubtedly , it is universal truth that " health is wealth " , but with today's rapidly changing world health issues are becoming worrying concern . It has been extremely debatable whether schools should take health education seriously or not . I ponder that it will derive positive consequences if added .
Multifarious factors are there to prove it . First and foremost , is that when they are taught at tender age they learn better as it is said that " The early bird catches the worm " and as a result they will become more health conscious which will automatically inhibit the risk of absenteeism and this will result as a salient contributing factor for higher academic scores .
Furthermore , there is an axiom that " sound mind develops in a sound body " which shows that health education will allow myriad possibilities to nation to grow but it is only possible when children of any nation are healthy because it is true that " today's children are tomorrow's leaders" , hence a healthy nation will grow with great alacrity . On the other side it will also enable government to utilize the money , which is a kind of towering outlay on health problems , in the development or progress of their country .
However , others believe that school curriculum already have plethora of subjects and adding health education will be fractious for children . Adding to it , they also believe that it is mandatory part of parents teaching and it would be onerous for teachers to teach it at school.
To recapitulate, I strongly believe that the positive outcomes of adding health education overweigh it's negative side. Factor supporting to this is that it is proved by scientific research that child' s mind develop upto the age of 5 and they show extraordinary talent of becoming an erudite .
